OMG!!!! This past Friday through Saturday (March 27-29) was the FBLA state competition in Atlanta, GA. I attended to compete for public speaking, and it was such a great experience and alot of fun...on Friday we started with 40 competitors in the public speaking event, and 10 moved on to the final round...I WAS ONE OF THOSE 10!!!! Then, I had to deliver my speech again in front of a different set of judges on Saturday, and that night they announced the placings. I got second place!!!! That means that I get to advance on to the National FBLA Competition in Anaheim, California!! I'm so excited! The competition takes place around the end of June, and I can't wait to go and compete, plus I have family in that area I haven't seen in years. So, everyone, pray for me and wish me luck!
