alot of firsts happend for me on this trip just to name a few it was my first time in dc , first time to attend an inauguration, and i got to see it all for the first black president. I got to be apart of history and i had did my own voter registration so i aculally helped make history, experiences i wouldnt trade or anything in the world. that morning of the inauguration me and supa woke up about 5 that morning to start getting ready and i remember hearing on the news that people had been out at the mall since 2am which i felt sorry for them later on when i was outside waiting cause it was freezing outside! we left around 7am me chantia, supa , and mia had tickets on the opposite side of godfather and his wife so we found a central location to where we could split off and reach our lines, but it seems as soon as godfather walked off i noticed the thousands of people who were surronding us mia led as we embarked on our timely journey to find the yellow ticket gate, we got lost bout 75 times lol people were giving us all kind of directions not to mention that we were already freezing trying to find our line and knowing that that line would prolly be an even longer wait was no help but after a a couple hours we were in our seats watching with overwhelming joy our first black president get sworn in and the wait, the cold, the frustration of being lost it was all worth it to acually be there to hear with my own ears, and to see with my own eyes was more than worth it THANKS NEWLOOK!!!!!!!!!!!
