Atlanta, GA (WRCB)- Jim Martin, Democratic Senate Candidate in GA, got a boost Wednesday from the 42nd President.  Bill Clinton shared the stage with Martin at Clark Atlanta University in front of a crowd numbering more than one thousand.  "You need to know this is not about Republican and Democrat, this is about yesterday and tomorrow," Clinton said.  He spoke for around twenty minutes and maintained high energy and passion.  "Jim Martin ought to be the Senator from Georgia, he is the kind of person we can respect, honor, support and be proud of," he continues.

Jim Martin talked about incumbent Senator Saxby Chambliss' time in office,"After eight years of top down, trickle down Saxby CHambliss economy, we have lost 96,000 jobs in Georgia."  Clinton urged voters to head to the polls, both campaigns know this will be the challenge.  "The person who wins this election will be the one who's supporters want it the most," Clinton said.
